The Vanuatu Tourism Office , through the Vanuatu Travel and Information Center (VTIC), in partnership with the Department of Tourism, the Malampa Tourism Council, the Vanuatu Skills Partnership and the Malampa Provincial Government , officiated the launching of the Malekula Travel Information Center in Lakatoro on Friday, 16 August 2024.
The Malekula Travel Information Center comes as a new addition to the existing Port-Vila, Luganville and Lenakel travel centers.
The revival of the provincial travel information desks are vital in providing directions and support to both the tourism operators and visitors to promote and experience the best of our destination. Other travel information desks in other provinces will also join.
The construction of the Malekula Travel Information Center is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
