UN Chief wraps visit to the Pacific
United Nations Secretary General António Guterres visited Vanuatu at the end of a trip to the Pacific that also included stops in New Zealand, Fiji and Tuvalu. He praised Vanuatu’s efforts to adapt to warming temperatures, and called for enlightened self interest on the climate challenge for the sake of not just the Pacific but the whole planet.
